Lockton Hong Kong receives FHKI’s Outstanding Caring Award

Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) has recognized Lockton HK team, among local SMEs, with Outstanding Caring Award of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Recognition Scheme: Industry Cares 2017.

After 2 months of selection process, the federation announced Lockton as award winner for the team’s effort in fulfilling CSR by donating, volunteering and giving back to our community. A ceremony was held on 26 September and Lockton team proudly received a certificate from Dr Law Chi-kwong, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare of HKSAR.

"The biggest reward is teamwork and I thoroughly enjoy working with the team on every activity!" said Olive Lam, leader of the Hong Kong CSR team.

The award is a milestone of the ongoing CSR initiative of Lockton Hong Kong which encourages Associates to participate in fundraisers and charity programmes. In a year full of joy by giving, the team has endeavoured to organize many activities to help those in need, with particular focus on children patients and social vulnerable groups. There is no doubt that the team’s untiring volunteers are happy to contribute and they will keep doing this for the years to come.

About FHKI’s Industry Cares

The FHKI set up the Committee on Promoting CSR in 2011 to advocate and encourage members to pursue CSR. The Committee launched “Industry Cares” to encourage members’ participation in CSR activities and to recognise their efforts in this area. The Recognition Scheme: Industry Cares is entering its fifth year to carry on acknowledging CSR excellence of member companies.
